Great night of fights at the Fraser view hall - "fights at the view" - packed house lots of fun and another huge WIN for Team Universal MMA

Oliver Evansher (1-0) fought a game and much bigger opponent from Vancouver Island Tyler Denniston who put up his perfect 2-0 record on the line.

We took the fight out of our weight class but it didn't matter - Oliver pushed the pace used his wrestling and threw some devastating knees from the clinch in a tough fast paced and close first round

Oliver was fresh and ready to go in the second but his opponent couldn't answer the bell for the second round due to exhaustion !!!

All our hard worked paid off once again !!! And Team Universal MMA continues to come out on top !!!

This is a unique Round Robin tournament without elimination where the only way to win is by submission. Weigh-in takes place between 9:00am and 9:45am and the tournament will start at 10:00am. Every competitor will ght up to 8 times opponents of varying skill levels. Competitors may wear a Gi or grappling shirts and shorts, but only gi jackets and pants can be grabbed by opponent. The cost to enter is $50.00 and there is no spectator fee.
