The 2008 West Coast Submissions Championship takes place on Saturday, September 13th at the Fight Pit Fitness & Training Center located at 11915 224th Street in downtown Maple Ridge.
This is a unique Round Robin tournament without elimination where the only way to win is by submission. Weigh-in takes place between 9:00am and 9:45am and the tournament will start at 10:00am. Every competitor will ght up to 8 times opponents of varying skill levels. Competitors may wear a Gi or grappling shirts and shorts, but only gi jackets and pants can be grabbed by opponent. The cost to enter is $50.00 and there is no spectator fee.
