Starting May 20th Universal MMA - Richmond will be offering a womens only Fitness Kickboxing Class. This class wil focus on cardio, conditioning, flexibility and core training! It will be a 1hour fast-paced and fun class for women of all levels - the class will be run by our energetic and knowledgeable instructor Wilf Betz. Come in for a FREE week and try this class out! Marcelo Garcia Universal MMA Seminar

Marcelo Universal MMA Seminar Marcelo Garcia is a world-renown teacher and competitor of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and submissions grappling. He has won the BJJ world championships at all belt levels (blue, purple, brown, and black) and the Submissions Grappling World Championships (ADCC) three times in a row (2003, 2005, 2007).

He was voted the most technical competitor in 2003 and 2007, and participant in the best match of 2005.

Marcelo is also a foremost expert in teaching BJJ. With his careful attention to detail and his friendly personality, he is one of the most sought after instructors in the world. In addition, he is an author and teacher of numerous bestselling martial arts instructional videos and books.

Having excelled at the highest competitive and teaching levels of BJJ and submissions grappling, Marcelo is thrilled to share his love and passion for this wonderful martial arts with you. His seminars consist of 2 days of classes - 2 hours/day plus sparring time to be determined by him.

Marcelo's UNIVERSAL MMA seminar will take place on May 17th and 18th, 2008 at the Downtown Vancouver Academy.

Time: 1pm - 3pm Saturday and Sunday

Cost: $75.00 for 1 day or $ 130.00 for both days
